Or Is It More...?

This is Day 2 of a 31 Day writing challenge. To read more about my 31 Days series and to catch up on any posts you've missed, be sure to check out my post 31 Days of INSPIRE!

Inspiration. noun. The process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something.

It's a fairly common word, I think we can all agree. Each one of us has probably said that something was "inspiring" at one time or another.

A song. A picture. A quote.

But what does that really mean for us? What is inspiration?

Is it just that warm-yet-empowered sensation after a motivational speech? Or good feelings after a moving song?

Or is it more than that?...

I guess that, when you boil it all down to the bare minimum, inspiration is really about change. It's about making a difference somewhere. Whether that's something as small as a change in your emotion or as big as going to a third-world country.

But whatever the case is, and whether or not you decide to act, inspiration is motivation towards change, and it can be a powerful tool when put to use.

So here's my question for the day- what does inspiration mean to you?
