My children inspire me. My oldest pursued his dream of becoming a Marine and pushed past any fears of failure to do so. My oldest daughter changed her lifestyle to better suit her needs and she had to let go of a lot of childhood friends and withstand peer pressure to make those changes. My youngest son is himself no matter what, even when it goes against popular opinion and he questions everything, making sure he believes in whatever principle he subscribes to. My youngest switched schools of her own accord and constantly shows courage and independence. Although I have taught them much, I have also had the privilege of being their student. Sometimes I talk the talk, but don't necessarily walk the walk. They show me how to do so. They are brave and thoughtful and tenacious. They inspire me to be the same.
